Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta began their rescue mission in 2005 by aiding dogs that were left homeless after Hurricane Katrina.
What differentiates this rescue from others is that they have turned their own house into the ultimate safe haven called "The Doghouse". Their story has been globally recognized in the book and film documentary called "Life in the Doghouse".
In addition to rescuing dogs from terrible situations, this rescue organization also delivers pet food and supplies to more than 48 elderly people living in poverty—and pays for their dogs’ medical bills, too.
